Care Guide: Built to Last, If You Let It
RENDYR pieces are made to endure. We use heavyweight fabrics, reinforced seams, and timeless construction so your clothing doesn’t just survive - it evolves with you. But even the strongest gear needs care.
This guide is simple, like our silhouettes - no fluff, just the essentials to keep your pieces performing the way they were built to.
01: Wash Cold. Always.
Heat breaks down fibres over time. Cold water protects the integrity of heavyweight cotton and elastane blends while reducing shrinkage and fading.
Machine wash cold - inside out to preserve surface textures, screen-prints, and embroidery.
02: Hang Dry. Never Tumble.
Tumble dryers damage fabric memory and shape. Over time, they’ll warp the drape and stress the stitching.
Air dry flat or on a hanger. Let gravity do the work.
03: No Harsh Chemicals
Avoid bleach, heavy stain removers, or fabric softeners. These break down the fabric at a molecular level - fast.
Stick with neutral, enzyme-free detergents. Minimal care for maximum longevity.
04: Steam Over Iron
Our fabrics are resilient, but direct heat from irons can burn or warp. If you need to smooth creases:
Use a steamer or a low-heat iron with a cloth barrier. No pressure, just presence.
05: Store Intentionally
Heavyweight cotton and fleece should hang or be folded cleanly to avoid stress marks and warping.
Avoid stuffing into drawers or overcrowding rails.
Give your gear space - like you give yourself.
06: Respect the Work
Each piece carries the energy of its creation. Designed with quiet strength, built with structure, made for daily endurance.
Looking after it isn’t about maintenance - it’s about honouring the process. Yours and ours.
Final Thought:
Care is discipline. Discipline is endurance.
These garments are made to be worn hard - but they’re also made to be respected.
Show up for them like they show up for you.
